The MusicTank Business and Innovation Award was created in order to recognise excellence in critical music business thinking among MA students of University of Westminster’s Music Business Management course, and was established by course leader Sally Gross.
As part of their studies, students undertake a major research project on a topic of their choosing, typically 15,000 words with award recognition going to the most promising submission, across two categories: MusicTank Business and Innovation Award and Outstanding Research in Business and Innovation.
From 2014, the work of award recipients has been published on this website and made available to all for free. Some of these papers are presented as part of MusicTank’s think tank debate programme, under the strand (from 2015)
