Richard Gooch - Director of Technology, IFPI
Richard's responsibilities at IFPI are concerned with all areas of technology in which the recording industry has interests. This includes audio, optical disc technologies, rights management technologies, data-communications and internet technologies.
He gained his PhD (Engineering Mathematics) from University of Bristol and an MEng in Electronic Systems Engineering from Kingston Polytechnic. He also holds various vocational qualifications in control engineering, radio and computer programming.
