Survey: BPI Music Consumption in the UK
16 May 2011
During June 2011, the BPI’s Digital Music Innovation Panel conducted a survey into music consumption patterns in UK households. It sampled 1,000 adults with quotas on age, gender and household composition using a 25-minute online survey, with some metrics collected for individual respondents and some for entire households.
This Infographic report considers changes in listening behaviour, the share of ‘ear-space’ by age, household segmentation and its share of total music spend, ownership vs. streaming and entry points to digital music discovery.
