Adam Place - Inventor and Founder, nu desine

First and foremost a musician, Adam Place is the inventor of the AlphaSphere and the founder of nu desine.

Finding the keyboard a limited interface orientated around a very specific tradition of music, he developed the AlphaSphere while studying music technology in Japan, after realising that nobody had designed an expressive instrument for music production.

He learnt business on the fly, as part of the process of founding nu desine, where he has successfully orchestrated a global supply chain including production in the UK and the far East, and sales across three continents including the USA, all over Europe, Japan and Mainland China.

He is currently in the process of setting up an innovation centre for nu desine in Hong Kong, where he works with his manufacturing partners just across the border, and his sales & marketing partners who work across the nightlife industry in mainland China.
