After finishing an MA in Digital Media Ben initially joined the music industry in the role of Online and Digital Manager at Hed Kandi Records.  This role involved maintaining relationships with an existing fanbase as well as extending the reach of the Hed Kandi music and brand through a number of online communities and services.

Moving on to VidZone Digital Media in 2005 to work with the online elements of the business meant that he had the chance to work with a much broader selection of music in a company that was more focused on new ways to distribute and retail music.

Ben is the Senior Marketing Manager at VidZone Digital Media and is responsible for managing a number of the UK and international accounts throughout EMEA. Working closely with the content and technical teams, this role is focused on both getting placement for frontline releases as well as being quick to market with all releases as and when a new service is signed.

Working with multiple services across numerous territories is proving to be a very interesting role which is giving great insight into musical tastes, consumer behaviour and the general penetration of new methods of music retail.
