Helen Doyle

Helen spent ten years actively working in both the London and New York dance music scene, before becoming more involved in label business affairs with Vacant during the last four years.

In 2002 she helped Vacant establish a joint publishing venture with MuteSong, to cater for dance music composers.

An interest in copyright and contract law led to the successful completion of a Certificate in Cultural Industries, (City University). Her studies for an MA in Music Business Management, (University of Westminster), led to the writing of her thesis, The Covermount Report, which was subsequently published in FiveEight, (Frukt), the MMF magazine and Your Release. It was further reviewed in the FT.

On returning to her native Ireland she is now establishing a new dance music label with emerging D&B producers/DJ’s.
