Kyle MacRae - Founder, Scoopt
Kyle MacRae launched Scoopt, the world's first commercial 'citizen
journalism' agency, in July 2005 to connect the media and members of the public
who find themselves in the right place at the right time with a camera.
The core principle is simple: user-generated content can have value, and the user deserves a share. He sold Scoopt to Getty Images earlier this year and currently runs the business from Glasgow in his role as Director of Citizen Media with Getty. Prior to this, Kyle was a freelance technology journalist and author.
