Lee McGuirk - Solicitor, Denton Wilde Sapte

Lee McGuirk is a solicitor specialising in music and media at Denton Wilde Sapte where she has worked since 1999.

Previously, she worked as a business affairs executive at a television and radio production company, and as an accountant for one of the leading UK firms of accountants in the music industry.

Her client base is wide and varied, ranging from artists and managers to record companies, publishers, advertisers, film and TV companies and financial institutions. Her expertise includes all aspects of the music industry involving the use and exploitation of masters and compositions through all media including broadcast and motion pictures.

She has particular experience of advising companies using music online and negotiating with collection societies for the use of music on fixed and mobile internet.

Lee also dedicates time to pro bono work, in particular representing the events organisers of the Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Charity.
