Mark Du Val, Director of Policy, LACORS
Mark Du Val is Director of Policy at LACORS (the Local Authorities Coordinators of Regulatory Services).
LACORS vision is to be an exemplar local government organisation, leading on policy development, driving improvement and adding value to local authority regulatory services.
Mark leads the policy group at LACORS with responsibility for local councils services covering health & safety enforcement, Licensing Act 2003 and Gambling Act 2005 in England and Wales, environmental protection (air, land, water & noise) and private sector housing. He has also successfully lead LACORS through the attainment of Investors in People and Customer Service Excellence (previously Charter Mark).
Mark is a food science graduate and Environmental Health Practitioner. He worked previously at a number of London Boroughs and for the States of Jersey in the Channel Islands.
