Mark Mooradian - Senior Director, MusicNet (UK)

Mark is Senior Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development at MusicNet and is spearheading their international efforts.

In addition to supporting the successful launches of digital music offerings by their existing international partners, Mark is also responsible for forging new partnerships with leading global brands and co-ordinates MusicNet’s local relationships with record labels and companies responsible for music publishing and licensing.

Prior to joining MusicNet, he was Vice President and Senior Analyst at Jupiter Media Metrix where he was responsible for music, media and entertainment research, from 1995 to 2002.

In addition to keynoting and moderating Jupiter and other industry conferences, he managed Plug.In, an international online music conference. Whilst at Jupiter, he was widely quoted as an expert analyst in national publications including The Wall Street Journal, New York Times and BusinessWeek and made regular appearances on CNN, CNBC and FoxNews.

Before becoming Vice President, Mark was group director of Jupiter’s Consumer Content Group, which published research covering the major online services and portals, as well as traditional media and entertainment companies’ online ventures.

Mark came from International Creative Management, where he worked with writers and directors, and raised international financing of client projects.

He received his BA in Psychology from University of California, San Diego and a joint BA in English and American Literature from University of Kent in Canterbury, (UK).
