Nick Ladd - Promoter & Co-founder, Glade Festival

Having started travelling at the age of 15, Nick drove a Bedford fire engine from London to Cape Town in 1991 and it was there that he first got involved in the production of music festivals and the nascient outdoor rave scene, putting on some seminal events there at that time.

Having also produced 3 dance festivals for total solar eclipses in Zambia, South Africa and Mexico respectively, Nick was involved in setting up the first Glade Stage at Glastonbury in 2000 and has since been instrumental in creating the Glade Festival as both its financial and creative director.

Described by Mushroom Magazine as an ‘itinerant spiritual hedonist with a passion for bringing people together’  Nick spends most of his winters travelling round the globe and attending outdoor dance festivals, collecting artists and ideas to bring back to the UK.
