Remi Harris, Music Industry Consultant

Remi Harris is a music industry consultant with experience in strategic planning, project development, research and management in the music, digital and design sectors.

She holds an MBA from the University of Westminster, with a thesis on the fit between business support services and small music companies. She has also raised over £1 million in funding for music projects including a major two-year project “London Connected” that provided consultancy and training on digital music to hundreds of small music companies.

Earlier in her career, Remi was General Manager at AIM (the Association of Independent Music) where she worked for 11 years and Director of Operations at umbrella body UK Music, where she conducted research into funding in the music industry which was put before a House of Commons select committee and influenced national debate.

Other projects include managing Iceland’s international conference for creative and digital industries ‘YAIC 2012’, project management for 59 Productions on the Olympic Opening Ceremony  and co-authoring a report into the British music market for the Netherlands Music Centre.
