Rob Gotlieb - Head of Marketing, Europe at MUZU.tv
Rob Gotlieb is Head of Marketing, Europe at MUZU.tv and is they key marketing contact for all labels and partnerships. Rob joined in July 2010 and since then has led on a number of successful marketing initiatives, including the first ‘Gig In Your Gaff’ with boy band The Wanted in partnership with 4Music. He also developed the format of ‘Live & Loud’, MUZU’s dedicated weekly on-going feature focusing on the best in Live Music performances.
Rob has more than 12 years digital marketing experience. He was European Sales and Marketing Executive at MP3.com and worked closely with labels and brands to develop successful campaigns for the likes of Reebok and MTV.
Next, Rob joined Napster, the UK’s first major digital music subscription service and spent four years there building up its subscriber base, overseeing offline and online marketing campaigns and developing brand partnerships with Film4, Virgin Radio, Sonos, Intel and others. He then helped to launch Passionato, the UK’s most popular classical music download store, heralded by The Guardian as 1 of 6 music sites to watch in their annual review.
Rob also managed several consultancyprojects for Clash Music magazine and Real Networks’ RealPlayer software, as well as worked with the management team of Golden Silvers on the launch of their debut album.
