Segun Lee-French – Arts Council England Relationship Manager Music (Midlands)

Segun Lee-French works as an arts manager, a producer and an independent artist.

Prior to taking up the post as Arts Council Music Relationship Manager for the Midlands, Segun worked in several roles at Arts Council: Relationship Manager for Engagement & Participation and for Combined Arts in West Midlands, and Grants For The Arts Theatre Assessor.

Before joining the Arts Council, Segun worked extensively in participatory arts and audience development, through posts at leading arts organizations like Community Arts North West and Apples & Snakes.  As a producer, Segun is founder of Manchester’s Speakeasy People poetry collective and has produced projects for a variety of clients including the British Council.  Segun is also an awardwinning playwright, poet and singer/songwriter, who has toured the UK and Europe.
