Apple-Accredited Course – Logic 101: Introduction to Logic Express 9 and Logic Pro 9

Based on the authoritative book ‘Logic Pro 9 and Logic Express 9’ by David Nahmani, this three-day, Apple-accredited short course will provide a thorough insight into professional audio production with Apple Logic Express and Apple Logic Pro 9 (101). Taught by Gary Bromham – one of only three Apple-selected Distinguished Professionals (APD) in the UK- this course combines in-depth lessons with accompanying book and DVD material to provide a comprehensive introduction to audio and MIDI production, including setting up a studio and building and mixing a song, as well as preparing the ground for Logic Pro 9 (301) Professional.

Gary has worked with many high profile-artists including Sheryl CroweGeorge MichaelThe Editors and Graham Coxon.  He brings a high level of experience, practicality and professionalism to the training – not to mention a 80% student pass success rate – and will guide you through the necessary knowledge needed for attaining Level 1 certification.

* Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of Mac OS X and basic knowledge of audio terminology is recommended.

CERTIFICATIONLogic Pro 9 (101) not only prepares students for Apple’s Certified Pro examinations, it also aids anyone wishing to boost their studio and production skills.  These industry-recognised qualifications are also a useful addition to your CV demonstrating that you are a confident and knowledgeable Logic Pro 9 user.

We include one attempt at the Level 1 Logic Pro Certification Exam as part of this course.  If you wish you can take this exam at the end of the third day of your training under exam conditions.  The pass mark is 90% and if successful you become an Apple Certified Pro (Level 1) and you’ll receive a completion certificate from Apple.  Once you have passed your Level 1 exam you can then progress to Apple’s three-day Logic Pro 9 (301) course.
