Help Musicians UK is the leading UK charity for professional musicians of all genres, from starting out through to retirement. We help at times of crisis, but also at times of opportunity, offering people the extra support they need at a crucial stage that could make or break their career.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in London in a Fundraising Appeals Officer role. You will be focusing on managing our donor and supporter data, as well as utilising databases and marketing techniques to increase fundraising income. This will be primarily from high volume, low value individual donors. You will also record data in an efficient and effective manner to ensure the integrity of the information, in line with GDPR guidelines. In addition to this, you will act as the conduit between the Database Officer and members of the Fundraising team on database-related administration and support.
To be successful, you must possess excellent knowledge of database marketing techniques to improve donor engagement and generate fundraising income. A good overall understanding of individual giving as a fundraising discipline is also important. You must also demonstrate substantial experience of working with a CRM at either an Administrator or Officer level. Some experience using ThankQ or a similar programme to manipulate data is also essential. A knowledge of and interest in music and the issues that might affect musicians is also desirable.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation and to work to achieve the charity’s ambitions to support career and creative opportunities for music makers and the industry.
